Lesson Rates with PGA Tour Participant Ryan Swanson
PGA Tour participant Ryan Swanson will be offering lessons at Pinehurst in 2009. In 2008, Ryan was named a ‘Cleveland Golf’ All-America Scholar. Only 96 college golfers across the country received this honor.

In 2007, Ryan Swanson qualified for the Nationwide Tour’s Peek’n Peak Charity Classic at the Peek’n Peak Resort and Spa. His Monday Qualifier round of 65 made the cut for the tournament, where he was the only amateur to get in by qualifying. All four rounds of the tournament were televised on The Golf Channel.
Also in 2007, Ryan qualified for the prestigious Porter Cup Amateur Tournament, by shooting a 71 in the qualifying tournament. As amateurs, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson, among others, played in The Porter Cup.
In the summer of 2006, Ryan placed in the top 10 at the New York State Amateur. In the fall, Ryan won the 2006 Binghamton NBT Bank Classic for St. Bonaventure University. He was named the Atlantic-10 golfer of the week many times. Also in the summer of 2006, Ryan won the North-Western Pennsylvania / South-Western New York Amateur Title. Ryan has also won the last three Chautauqua County Amateur Championships.
